The Order of the Sergeantry

The Barony of Vulcanfeldt created several Orders to recognize members who complete a series of tests. These tests demonstrate skill, knowledge, and dedication across many areas. The Sergeantry of Vulcanfeldt administers the trials, and the Baronage makes the final decision on acceptance.
When candidates complete the requirements, they swear fealty to the Baronage of Vulcanfeldt. They also earn the right to wear the regalia of their rank. In addition, candidates who live outside the Barony may enter as Honorary Citizens of Vulcanfeldt. As a result, they gain the right to vote at Baronial Council Meetings.

1) Categories within the Order of the Sergeantry

a) Sergeants‑at‑Arms focus on the Knightly arts and heavy weapons combat.
b) Yeomen focus on the Knightly arts and missile weapons.
c) Gallants focus on the Knightly arts and rapier combat.
d) Lancers focus on the equestrian arts; such as riding, horsemanship, and heraldry

2) Categories within the Order of Courtier

a) Artisans focus on excellence in the Courtly arts and the Arts & Sciences.
b) Stewards focus on excellence in the Courtly arts and service.
